What happened was that on Tuesday afternoon, just before taking off on a regular flight, one of its tires burst on the taxiway of Dabolim airport in Goa. Officials have given this information. He said that the MiG-29K aircraft got stuck on the taxiway due to tire burst, although there was no news of any casualty.

. A Navy spokesperson said the plane's tire burst while it was on the taxiway before its routine flight. Fire brigade and other services personnel were immediately sent there. He said the single-pilot aircraft would be moved away from the taxiway. However, the officer did not reveal the time of the incident.

Dabolim Airport Naval Base
It is known that Dabolim airport located in South Goa district is part of the naval base INS Hans. This facility is used by naval aircraft during certain times of the day. Dabolim Airport Director SVT Dhananjay said that as a result of the incident,

the airport's runway has been closed for operations till 4 pm. Services of 10 flights were affected. Some flights have been diverted to Manohar International Airport in Mopa.
